Act as a knowledge bridge between Buyers and Store Category Experts by bringing in nuanced insights on customer needs and preference as well as local market and competitive dynamics to enhance the differentiation of product range in accordance with the brand positioning in the market.
Co-design with the Buyers on both product category and range strategy throughout the strategic planning and range review process and determine product range and assortment selection, validation and micro-space planning for the extension range.
Ensure the compliance of product strategy execution at the store level.
Influence the product pricing, co-decide the promotional tactics for in-store promotions and help coordinate promotional execution in-stores.
Participate in customer focus group to enhance customer knowledge and centricity for brand.
Conduct market visit to identify product differentiation opportunities and cascade product strategy to store managers, division heads and local champions for strategy implementation.
Assist in analyzing like-for-like performance to inform category business decisions for the brand.
Tertiary education with Retail knowledge is required.
7-10 years of retail operational experience.
Commercial & strategic thinking mindset (Trading, Promotion, Price); influencing and decision-making skills.
Strong competency in discerning consumer needs & product preference as well as developing category & store presentation addressing those needs.
Advanced PC skills.
